This course is specifically for the English Law Journal Editors and those who are interested to become an editor in our English Law Journal. Student will learn how to edit a law review article and in practice to edit an article. Bluebooking and reference checking and other editing skills will be introduced. Additionally, research and thesis writing is also the focus of this course. Students will learn the process of thesis writing, including making proposal, doing research, deciding topic and incorporating the editing skill into writing. Student will have opportunity of group learning as well as one-on-one or one-on-two interview. All the course material, assignment will mainly be conducted in English but instruction may be in Chinese. Students will also learn the importance and rules of academic ethics.
